A group called “City for All Women Initiative“ is planning an “Ottawa Hijab Day” on Feb. 25, 2016. The group states that it is aiming for “better awareness”, “greater understanding,” and a “peaceful world.” The Hijab Day will be a day, the group announces, “When non-Muslim women will wear a hijab for all or part of the day to be in solidarity with Muslim women. We walk with our sisters.”
In response to this group’s planned event, we are running Jamie Glazov’s Video: What a Woman in Hijab is Really Saying to You, in which he unveils the terrifying truth about what the hijab really signifies.
Perhaps the organizers of the event will share this video with all of their event’s participants in order to help achieve “better awareness” and “greater understanding”.

Thanks for this, Jamie! You are right on point, as always. It is nauseating to see support for the wearing of the hijab in Ottawa. Anyone who objects is, of course, labelled ‘racist’ and ‘Islamophobic.’ Your video helped remind me just how outrageous and morally upside-down the whole discussion has become.

Feb 25, Ottawa! I am from Ottawa. Is there another group that will stand there also to bring awareness of the truth that is opposite of that which “City for all women initiative” want us to believe. If so, please let me know. I would like to be present and show resistance to their lies.
Excellent piece, however, one group of women that you didn’t touch on, Jamie, are those Western Muslims (often converts) who actually do choose to wear the hijab. I question their motives. Is it a symbol of Islamic supremacy or moral superiority over us non-Muslim “sluts and whores”, or might it be a political statement of defiance against the kuffar, in accordance with Quranic verse, keeping themselves separate from the non-believer? Are these women victims? Or, are they complicit in the false narrative regarding women in Islam? The hijab is a symbol that should offend every individual who understands and values freedom,
equality and democracy.
