  1. A couple of years ago, I heard retired Adm. James Lyons speak at Lafayette Park in Washington, DC . It was clearly a chore for him to appear in public on a cold day, and he labored to walk to the podium. But I suspect he felt it was important that he warn his countrymen of the present danger. Among other things, he claimed he was ashamed of the rules of engagement under which US forces labored, and he squarely placed t he death of certain soldiers on those “politically correct” (my term) rules.

This line has a good indication of what I recall Adm. Lyons saying that day. America was ignored this fine Naval officer’s warnings at its, and the world’s, peril.

  2. Islamo-Nazi/Muslim Brotherhood/Leftist “Rules of Engagement”: We do as we please and you keep your mouth shut…and die.

It’s called Totalitarianism (key syllable being Total). Managing — not leading — human beings as commodities.
