15 years later and I — and surely tens of millions of other Americans — still don’t know what our government INTENDS to do.
In the early 80s the US Army changed its formulation for Operations Plans & Orders (OPLANs & OPORDs). Before getting into the details of how a Mission was to be executed (in the Execution paragraph #3), added was a new paragraph entitled “Commander’s Intent”). This was done to force Commanders to communicate to their subordinates and subordinate units how he saw the operation taking place — to communicate his vision.
So 15 years later, what’s the vision. What’s the INTENT? To play Wacka-Mo until the literal moles outnumber the “wackers”? That’s exactly what Obama’s approach looks like. To allow a thousand cuts and cause us to throw our hands up and the towel in? Meanwhile, we are deliberately being blinded from within and cannot remove the monkey wrenches from our gears. Two words: Deplorable & Despicable. And if you say, “There’s a monkey wrench! There’s a monkey wrench!” you’re labeled a racist, xenophobe, ad infinitum.
Mohamed and Saul Alinsky meet. Apparently two peas in a pod with the INTENT of physical and psychological mayhem in order to not just win, but to break the entire casino. For what?
US government: Please tell us what you intend to do? We want to be IN THE TENT.
